Accessibility Statement
At Hi Coruña we believe in innovation that adds up to everyone. Our space (physical and digital) is designed to be inclusive and accessible, also here, on our website.
Our commitment
We want anyone, regardless of their abilities, to be able to navigate, read and participate in the Hi community without barriers.
That is why we work following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1AA level, recommended by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the W3C and adopted in the European digital accessibility regulations.
Why is contrast so important?
Good contrast between text and background (as mentioned in WCAG guideline 1.4.3) allows content to be readable for people with low vision or color blindness, and also reduces visual fatigue – it is one of the most accessible and effective ways to improve on-screen readability.
Where we continue to improve
Although much of the website is already compliant with the standards, there are still details that we are fine-tuning, such as:
Old documents or content that may not be 100% adapted.
Hierarchy of headings and technical labels that we are gradually correcting.
How we have done it
We have revised our website with automatic tools and manual tests (keyboard, screen readers, text enlargement…) and will continue to do so with each update.
If you encounter a barrier
At Hi Coruña we always listen. If you encounter any accessibility difficulties or would like to make a suggestion, please write to us:
We are still on the move
Accessibility is not an end state, it is a continuous process. We review and improve our website on a regular basis.
